Dealing with Mcidiots

Recently Mcdonalds in the Toledo Area started with a policy to not allowing orders to be changed once you reach the "Pick up" window in the drive thru. Generaly speaking, I agree with the change in policy..I can't count the number of times that I got stuck waiting in line behind some schmuck that decided that didn't want something, or thought."Hmm, that cherry pie" looks good. What ..I have a problem with the Mcdonald's workers that now use it as an excuse for not correcting thier mistakes in the drive through. Twice in the last 2 months I had this happen with me. The first time, All I ordered was 3 Salads. 2 of one type, and a 1 of the other. For what ever reason they only had me get 1 of each salad. The Little Screen that conferms the order wasn''t working, and she didn't read my order back. When we got to the pick up window, and asked why we only had 1 of each salad, they told us that all we ordered, and paid for. After my wife and myself explained to them that we ordered a total of 3 salads and wanted the third salad (we even offered to pay for it) They told us that if we wanted it we would have to go back through the Drive Thru!!.. We ended up going to another Mcdonalds to get the salad. This wasn't an isslolated incenent. I had a similer thing happen at the same Mcdonalds 3 weeks later(Located in Westgate area, On Secor). What my point is, that it seems like costumer service isn't the same as it use to be. When I used to work at Mcdonalds, or deliveried pizza, we went out of our way to correct mistakes on our part, and even the ones made on the costumers' part( (The trick was correcting those without makeing it look like it was thier mistake). Today it just seems like a mistake is made.."To bad, sorry about you luck pal. quit your bitching, .Now piss off!!".. I realize that working in that type of job isn't fun, and thier are costumers that do abuse the help, or generally have a "I'm god" complex and these people should be shot on sight, but.I like to think I'm not one of those. I have worked those jobs, and been on that side of the counter and know what it's like...All I'm asking is to correct a mistake, and Don't make the paying costumer jump through hoops to get what they asked for.

First Post

This is my first post to this wonderfull and interesting adventure. To be honest, at this point I'm not sure how this is going to turn out, or what will become of it. Hell..This time next year, this may be a thing of the past, or it could be the start of my path to riches. Stay Tune, and we both will fine out.
